In vitro study | Microencapsulation of vitamin A palmitate from gelatin-gum Arabic complex is a promising method for converting oily vitamins into solid powders, thereby facilitating the mixing of handling and ease of preparation. |
In vivo study | Vitamin A Palmitate (80 mg/kg daily, P. O.) or (800 mg/kg once weekly, P. O.) dose-dependently reduces the size of papillary lymphomas in mice, when the total dose is consistent, daily administration produces a higher degree of regression than weekly administration. The aqueous solution of Vitamin A Palmitate has the same effect on papillary lymphomas as the oral route of Vitamin A acid. Vitamin A Palmitate (150g simultaneously injected alone) enhanced cell-mediated sheep red blood cell (SRBC) immunity in 3-day pre-immunized patients for at least 3 weeks. |

Introduction | retinol palmitate is A form of Vitamin A. It is an ester of retinol in combination with palmitic acid, a saturated fatty acid that is a major component of palm oil. Retinol palmitate is readily absorbed by the skin and then converted to retinol. It is a yellow or yellow-red solid or oily substance. |
Application | vitamin A palmitate ophthalmic gel is widely used in clinical practice, it is mainly aimed at repairing the function of goblet cells and reversing cell cornification. Conjunctival goblet cells are an important component of the conjunctival epithelium, the main function of mucin secretion, protection and lubrication of the ocular surface. Inflammation caused by allergic conjunctivitis, Sjogren's syndrome, burns, etc., will damage goblet cells, resulting in abnormal mucin layer. |
biological activity | Retinyl (Vitamin A) Palmitate is A more stable, the essential nutrient vitamin A is added to the composition of palmitic acid. |
Use | can be absorbed through the skin, anti-keratinization, stimulate the growth of collagen and elastin, increase the thickness of the epidermis and dermis. Enhance skin elasticity, effectively eliminate wrinkles, promote skin renewal, maintain skin vitality. For eye cream, Moisturizing Cream, repair cream, shampoo, hair conditioner, etc. vitamins |
